How Do I Create An Email Address?

You can create email addresses for your domain from your Fridge Hosting client area by opening your hosting service and accessing the Hosting Control Panel.

Step 1: Log In To Your Fridge Hosting Account

Log in to your Fridge Hosting client area:

View Your Services

Step 2: Open Your Hosting Service

On the services page, click on the hosting service for the domain where you want to create the email address.

Step 3: Open The Hosting Control Panel

Inside the service page, click Hosting Control Panel.

This will open the control panel for your hosting account.

Step 4: Go To E-Mail Accounts

In the Hosting Control Panel, follow this path:

Hosting Control Panel → E-mail Manager → E-Mail Accounts → Create Account

Step 5: Create The Email Account

Enter the email address name you want to create, such as:

info

sales

yourname

Then set a secure password and save the account.

For example, if your domain is yourbusiness.co.za and you create the mailbox called info, your email address will be:

info@yourbusiness.co.za

Important

You must have hosting connected to your domain before you can create and use email addresses on that domain.

If your domain is registered somewhere else, or your nameservers/DNS are not pointing to Fridge Hosting, your email may not work until the domain is connected correctly.

If you are creating an email address for the first time, start from your services page, open your hosting service, then click Hosting Control Panel. From there, go to E-mail Manager, then E-Mail Accounts, then Create Account.
