Why Did My Domain Transfer Fail?
A domain transfer can fail for a few common reasons.
The Transfer Was Rejected
Someone clicked the reject link in the transfer approval email.
The Transfer Was Not Approved
For .ZA domains, the transfer request expires if it is not approved within 5 days.
The Domain Is Too New
Most .ZA domains cannot be transferred within the first 5 days after registration.
The Domain Is Locked
If the domain has a clientTransferProhibited status, the current registrar must unlock it before it can be transferred.
