How Do I Set Up Node.js?

You can set up a Node.js application from your Fridge Hosting control panel. Node.js setup is available for customers who need to run a Node.js app from their hosting account.

Where To Find Node.js Setup

Hosting Control Panel → Extra Features → Setup Node.js App

Basic Steps

1. Log in to your hosting control panel

2. Open Setup Node.js App

3. Create the Node.js application

4. Choose the Node.js version, application root and startup file

5. Upload your application files

6. Install your application dependencies

7. Start or restart the application

Important

You need to know which Node.js version, startup file, application root, build command and environment variables your app requires.

Fridge Hosting can provide hosting-related guidance, but we do not develop, debug or rewrite your Node.js application code. If you do not know which files to upload, which settings to use or why your app is not working, you may need help from a developer.

Managed And Self-Managed Support

Guide Me support is the self-managed support option for customers who are comfortable doing more themselves. Do It For Me support is the managed support option for customers who want more hands-on help with normal hosting tasks. Node.js application development and code troubleshooting are not included as standard hosting support.

Need Better Performance?

If your Node.js application needs more CPU power, RAM or stronger hosting performance, Select hosting may be the better option than standard Core hosting.
